Section 4: Independent Contractor Agreement & Company Policies

Independent Contractor Agreement BOLKOF CLEANING SERVICES

Welcome to Bolkof Cleaning Services. This Independent Contractor Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions governing your relationship with Bolkof Cleaning Services. By electronically signing this Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions below.

1. Independent Contractor Relationship

You acknowledge and agree that you are providing cleaning services as an independent contractor and not as an employee of Bolkof Cleaning Services.

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.

As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for your own taxes, insurance, licenses, permits, and any other obligations required by law.

2. Services

You agree to provide professional residential and/or commercial cleaning services assigned through Bolkof Cleaning Services.

You agree to perform all services safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards.

3. Job Assignments

Bolkof Cleaning Services does not guarantee any minimum number of jobs or earnings.

You may accept or decline available assignments.

Once you accept an assignment, you are expected to complete the job unless an emergency prevents you from doing so.

Repeated cancellations, missed appointments, or failure to complete accepted jobs may result in suspension or termination from the platform.

4. Professional Standards

You agree to:

Arrive on time for every scheduled assignment. Treat every customer with courtesy and respect. Perform services to the quality standards established by Bolkof Cleaning Services. Leave each property clean, secure, and undamaged. Follow all customer instructions that are consistent with the booked service.
5. Equipment and Supplies

Unless otherwise instructed by Bolkof Cleaning Services, you are responsible for providing and maintaining the cleaning equipment, supplies, tools, and materials necessary to perform your assignments.

You agree to keep your equipment clean, safe, and in good working condition.

6. Confidentiality

During your work, you may have access to confidential customer information.

You agree to protect the privacy of every customer and not disclose, copy, share, photograph, record, or misuse any customer information except as necessary to complete the assigned service.

This confidentiality obligation continues even after your contractor relationship ends.

7. Non-Solicitation

You agree not to directly or indirectly solicit, recruit, divert, or accept cleaning work from any Bolkof Cleaning Services customer outside of the Bolkof Cleaning Services platform during your contractor relationship and for twelve (12) months after your relationship ends.

8. Property Damage and Incident Reporting

If any property is damaged, an accident occurs, or an injury happens during a job, you agree to notify Bolkof Cleaning Services immediately and provide accurate details regarding the incident.

Failure to report an incident promptly may result in termination of your contractor relationship.

9. Background Screening

You understand that Bolkof Cleaning Services may require a background screening before assigning work.

Providing false or misleading information during onboarding may result in immediate disqualification or termination.

10. Compensation

You will be paid according to the compensation schedule established by Bolkof Cleaning Services for completed and approved assignments.

Payments will be made by direct deposit.

No payment will be issued until all required onboarding documents, including a completed W-9, have been received and approved.

11. Taxes

You understand that you are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

Bolkof Cleaning Services will not withhold income taxes, Social Security, Medicare, or other payroll deductions from your compensation.

12. Contractor Conduct

You agree to conduct yourself professionally at all times.

You will not:

Use illegal drugs or alcohol while performing services. Smoke inside customer properties unless expressly permitted. Engage in harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or threatening behavior. Bring unauthorized individuals, including children or pets, to customer appointments. Perform services outside the customer's approved booking without authorization.
13. Termination

Either you or Bolkof Cleaning Services may end this contractor relationship at any time.

Bolkof Cleaning Services may immediately terminate this relationship for reasons including, but not limited to:

Fraud or dishonesty, Theft, Poor workmanship, Customer misconduct Safety violations Repeated cancellations or no-shows Violation of this Agreement Falsification of documents or information
14. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the complete understanding between you and Bolkof Cleaning Services regarding your independent contractor relationship.

By electronically signing this Agreement during onboarding, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all of its terms and conditions.

Electronic Signature
